Thengai Swamigal Jeeva Samadhi Temple is a burial place of Siddhar Thengai Swamigal located at Sulthanpet near Villianur Town in Union Territory of Puducherry, India. Devotees who were coming to visit the Siddhar used to come with Coconut. He used to break the coconut into two pieces. He used to read the predictions from one piece and the devotees will take the other piece with them. Devotees keep the other piece in their pooja room and start worship them. By doing so, it is believed that all their problems will be solved. Hence, he is called as Thengai Swamigal (Thengai mean Coconut in Tamil). First Monday of every month is very special here.
