Ram Paradesi Swamigal Jeeva Samadhi Temple is the burial place of Siddhar Ram Paradesi Swamigal located at Villianur Town in Union Territory of Puducherry, India. The temple is devoted to a saint named Rama Paradesi Swami, who is believed to be the incarnation of Universal Lord. This place is the Siddhar Peedam of Sadguru Sri Rama Paradesi Swamigal.

This Siddhar had lived during 1800. His name, birth place and parents are not known and he did not say about that. He reached to Villianur and stayed there. As he spoke Telugu, people of Villianur believed that he might be from Andhra Pradesh. As he always hummed "Sri Ram", he also was called as Sri Rama Paradesikal. He saved lot of people from death particularly by snake bites.

One day he informed to the people of Villianur that a heavy rain will destroy the whole village during the summer and go for safe place. However, people did not believe his words because normally summer season would not have such kind of heavy rains. But as the Mahan said heavy rain destroyed the village and many people died. After this incident, the people eagerly went to see the Mahan and his place also water logged.

Mahan was not there. After about thirty years 1868 French Government constructed a railway line from Pondicherry to Villupuram via Villianur. For the railway line work, workers digged the sand in a particular place blood was coming out from sand. They feared and informed to higher officials. Higher officials and Villianur people digged further and found a man sitting in Yoga position.

A Doctor was called in. His blood flow was good, temperature and pulse were normal. The old people confirmed that he is Mahan Sri Rama Paradesikal and officers informed to French Chief Official and he came to that place. Official waited for his awakening for 2 days. But he did not wake up. So, all decided to put him in a pit and constructed a Temple over it. These details were recorded in French documents.

After that he is being worshipped by devotees and Mahan is being get rid of many problems of his real devotees to this day. The Temple is located at about 200 meters from Villianur Railway Station, 400 meters from Sulthanpet Bus Stop, 800 meters from Villianur Bus Stop, 9 Kms from Puducherry Main Bus Stand, 9 Kms from Puducherry Railway Station, 11 Kms from Puducherry Airport, 30 Kms from Villupuram Railway Station, 32 Kms from Villupuram, 150 Kms from Chennai Airport and 159 Kms from Chennai.

The temple is located on the Puducherry-Villupuram Road near Villianur Railway Station and Sulthanpet Bus Stop. Bus facilities are available from both Puducherry and Villupuram. Buses are available for every 10 minutes from Puducherry Main Bus Stand and Villupuram Bus Stand. Nearest Railway Station is located at Villianur and Puducherry. Nearest Airport is located at Puducherry and Chennai.
