Jawahar Toy Museum is located next to the old lighthouse on Goubert Avenue, the museum is open on all days except Monday. This museum has a collection of over 120 dolls, each one dressed in costumes from different Indian states. Also on display is a little fairyland with a tiny Ganesha watching over all the proceedings. This is probably one of the best places for kids to visit in Pondicherry. The collection of dolls and toys showcased here are sure to delight every young visitor. The Toy Museum remains open from 10 AM to 5 PM.  Open for public throughout the week, except Mondays and national holidays. Entry is Free.

The Museum is located at about 600 meters from Government Hospital Bus Stop, 3 Kms from Puducherry Main Bus Stand, 2 Kms from Puducherry Railway Station, 5 Kms from Puducherry Airport and 150 Kms from Chennai Airport. The Museum is situated on Pondicherry Bus Stand to JIPMER (Gorimedu) Bus Route. Tourists can get down at Government Hospital Bus Stop. The Museum is located at a walkable distance from this Bus Stop. Taxis and Autos are also available to reach this Museum from any part of Puducherry. Nearest Railway Station is located at Puducherry. Nearest Airport is located at Puducherry and Chennai.
