Thiruvakkarai – Vasantha Mandapam
Vasantha Mandapam (Kalyana Mandapam) can be seen between Vakra Kali Shrine and Chandramouleeswarar Shrine, opposite to Deepa Lakshmi Shrine in the temple premises. It is built beautifully in the form of a horse-driven chariot. This Mandapam is supported by hundred sculpted pillars. Although, this Mandapam remain closed most of the time, the important festivals are conducted here.
