Serenity Beach is one of the most beautiful Beaches located in ECR Road of Puducherry Town in Union Territory of Puducherry. This Beach is located on the scenic ECR road, connects Puducherry with Chennai. Serenity Beach is located close to another famous Auro Beach. This is largely perceived to be one of the most beautiful beaches in Pondicherry. Its pristine golden sands, playing hide and seek with the shimmering waters of the Bay of Bengal; its secluded and quiet ambience are unbeatable and attracts thousands of visitors every year.

The name Serenity is completely apt for this beach due to its peaceful surroundings. Serenity Beach offers several adventure activities like surfing, boating, canoeing and kayaking. This is a perfect destination for sunbathing, swimming and just relaxing. While the picturesque beach is graced by white sand bordered by palm trees, the surrounding blue waters are a surfing hotspot. There is surfing school available for the beginners and professionals. It is a great calming experience to take morning and evening walks here.

You can also witness a large number of fishing boats and some greenery in the form of creepers as you explore the beach. Visitors and locals love to spend moments of repose and relaxation here as the beach is also not over-crowded. Serenity Beach Bazaar is setup on weekends at the beach on East Coast Road. Some of the items sold in bazaar are handicrafts, garments and leather goods.

The Beach is located at about 1 Km from Chinna Mudaliyar Chavadi Bus Stop, 4 Kms from Auro Beach, 8 Kms from Auroville, 5 Kms from Puducherry Airport, 7 Kms from Puducherry Main Bus Stand, 7 Kms from Puducherry Railway Station and 146 Kms from Chennai Airport. The Beach is situated on Pondicherry Bus Stand to Ganapathy Chetti Kulam / Kalapet Bus Route or ECR Road connecting Puducherry and Chennai. Tourists can take the local bus going towards Kalapet or any Chennai bound bus plying on the ECR Route, get down at Chinna Mudaliyar Chavadi Bus Stop. The Beach is located at a walkable distance from this Bus Stop. Taxis and Autos are also available to reach this Beach from any part of Puducherry. Nearest Railway Station is located at Puducherry. Nearest Airport is located at Puducherry and Chennai.
