Pillayarkuppam Beach is one of the most beautiful Beaches located off the Pondicherry to Cuddalore Road after Chunnambar Boat House in Pillayarkuppam Village in Bahour Commune in Puducherry District in Union Territory of Puducherry. This Beach is neat, clean and not so crowded. This beach is also called as Narambai Beach. The beach is located next to club Mahindra. Families also can visit this beach as enough security is provided. You will not find shop here not even small shops. Better to carry water and snacks. But don’t throw the wastes in beach.

It is a peaceful place to enjoy alone or with groups. The beach is located at about 3 Kms from Mahatma Gandhi Hospital Bus Stop, 2.5 Kms from Kirumambakkam Bus Stop, 8 Kms from Bahour, 13 Kms from Ariyankuppam, 17 Kms from Puducherry Main Bus Stand, 18 Kms from Puducherry Railway Station, 21 Kms from Puducherry Airport and 163 Kms from Chennai Airport.

The Beach is situated on Pondicherry to Cuddalore Bus Route connecting Puducherry and Cuddalore. Tourists can take the Cuddalore bound Bus and get down at Kirumambakkam Bus Stop. The Beach can be reached by Autos available from this Bus Stop. PRTC Bus No 9A from Pondicherry Main Bus Stand will take you directly to the Narambai Village. Taxis and Autos are also available to reach this Beach from any part of Puducherry. Nearest Railway Station is located at Puducherry. Nearest Airport is located at Puducherry and Chennai.
