Jambunathaswamy Temple is a Hindu Temple dedicated to
Lord Shiva located at Neravy Town in Karaikal District of Union Territory of
Puducherry, India.
History
This temple was constructed by Thirumalai Rayan who
ruled this region between 1453 and 1468 as a representative of Vijaya Nagara
Empire.
Festivals
Thiruvathirai (December-January) and Thirukarthigai
festivals (November -December) are celebrated in this temple with much fanfare.
